On 20 March 2012, Al Jazeera Center for Studies organised a panel with a delegation from the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Hosted by Dr. Salah Eddin Elzein, Director of AJCS, it was composed of Stephen Sachs, Director of the Political Committee in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Marit Nybakk, Chair of the Subcommittee on NATO Partnerships, NATO officials, and several representatives of member countries. It was held at Al Jazeera Theater in Al Jazeera Media and Training Cener in Doha, Qatar, and addressed the events and developments of the Arab spring and the nature of future relations between the Arab world and the West.
