Within the Al Jazeera book series, Al Jazeera Centre for Studies has issued a book entitled Iraq's Christians: Present Ordeals and Future Concerns by Daham Mohammed Al-Azzawi. In it, the Christian situation in Iraq raises a group of questions to those interested in Iraqi political affairs and the country's future. Christians and their places of worship have recently become targets of explosive operations. It is likely that this targeting implies that the future of Christians in Iraq is surrounded by serious risks so long as the factors of stability have not yet been established in the Iraqi scene.

Sectarian quotas applied in Iraq since the U.S. occupation to the present have affected Christians because of their inability to unify their political discourse since many of them have undertaken religious and ethnic quota projects.

According to al-Azzawi, as long as international forces interested in Iraqi affairs – especially the United States – encourage the quota system, the position of Iraq's
Christians remains threatened.

Furthermore, the position of popular and official political forces on the integration of Christians into the Iraqi social structure and limiting their movement of displacement to Western countries will contribute to resolving the affairs ofIraq's Christians.

The book consists of an introduction, five chapters, and a conclusion.
