A delegation from the Italian Parliament, including two members of the Senate and three Deputies from the Parliamentary, visited Al Jazeera Center for Studies on 4th December 2012, to meet with the Dr. Salah Eddin Elzein, Director of the Center, who explained the role of the Center and its activities as well as its future aspirations.
During the private meeting the participants discussed the foreign policy of Qatar and the current changes that are happening in the Middle East and North Africa, in relation to the Arab spring, including the developments in Egypt, the recent Arab-Israeli conflict in the Gaza strip and the continuing crisis in Syria.
