The center organized this seminar last Tuesday, 18 February 2014 at the AlJazeera Media Training and Development Center’s hall. The speakers at the seminar were former Libyan Prime Minister Dr. Mustafa Abushagur and writers Senussi Bsaikri and Ahmad al-Muqni, and it was attended by members of the Libyan community in Doha as well as a number of researchers and media professionals.
The seminar, which was broadcast by the AlJazeera Mubasher Satellite Channel, discussed the achievements of the Libyan revolution three years after its outbreak, and what it has failed to achieve thus far. The seminar also demonstrated the strengths of the main actors on the Libyan scene, as well as their strategies. The speakers did not neglect to talk also about the role of the regional and global powers in the events and developments occurring in Libya.
The seminar concluded by presenting insights and speculations into Libya’s future in the foreseeable term.
