A delegation from New York University, Abu Dhabi, including two renowned professors of sociology – Immanuel Wallerstein, a Senior Researcher at Yale University, and Craig Calhoun, President of the Social Science and Research Council at NYU, and their students visited Al Jazeera Centre for Studies.
A delegation from New York University, Abu Dhabi, including two renowned professors of sociology – Immanuel Wallerstein, a Senior Researcher at Yale University, and Craig Calhoun, President of the Social Science and Research Council at NYU, and their students visited Al Jazeera Centre for Studies on 16th January 2012 to research on Al Jazeera's experience as part of their study of the contemporary global system. The delegation met with a number of the Centre's researchers headed by Dr. Salah Eddin Elzein, who explained Al Jazeera Network's experience and the Centre's journey to the guests.
