Al Jazeera Centre for Studies and Georgetown University Qatar to address Gulf crisis and likelihood of success of Camp David summit

Al Jazeera Centre for Studies and Georgetown University Qatar are organising a research seminar in Doha under the title, ““The Gulf Crisis: The US Role and Prospective Trajectories”. It will take place on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at 6:00 pm at Georgetown University’s auditorium.

Al Jazeera Centre for Studies and Georgetown University Qatar are organising a research seminar in Doha under the title, “The Gulf Crisis: The US Role and Prospective Trajectories”. It will take place on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 at 6:00 pm at Georgetown University’s auditorium.

The seminar will delve into Gulf security and its impact on the current crisis. It will also explore Qatar’s strategy toward resolving the crisis, and shed light on the outcomes expected from the upcoming Camp David summit.

Attendees will include researchers, academics and media personalities. The panelists will be Rory Miller, professor of political science at Georgetown University Qatar; Stephen Wright, associate professor of political science at Hamad Bin Khalifa University; Abdulaziz Al Ishaq, Qatari media personality and writer; and Abdullah Al Athbah, the editor-in-chief of Al Arab.
