The Arabs, Democracy and Public Space in the Age of a Multitude of Screens: A Study of Al Jazeera
This study presents an in-depth analytic reading of the dynamics of the relationship between media and politics and the democratic transition in the Arab world, starting with Al Jazeera’s experience since its establishment in 1996. It attempts to establish theoretical frameworks and form proactive arguments in its approach to the impact of media in the political field, especially after the Arab Spring.
