Islam and the West: Towards a better world

This book contains all the studies and presentations that have been made during the first seminar of Al Jazeera Center for Studies under the title “Islam and the West: Towards a Better World”, which have been organized from 26th to 28th of May, 2006 in the capital of Qatar, Doha. The book was a result of a question posed to more than twenty scholars from both Arab and Western worlds, and this question is about finding ways for both Muslims and Westerners to enjoy and establish a better world for living, tranquility, peace and security.
