United Nations Reform Process in Light of the Faltering International Organization

The book addresses the major challenges faced by the United Nations, such as achieving global peace and security as well as achieving international cooperation. It also deals with the emergence of the organization at a unique moment, dictated by unnatural alliances imposed by the Second World War. If the United Nations was able to serve or developt its methods to adapt to the changes of international system during the Cold War, this ability has been almost non-existent under the present international system.
