U.S. Occupation of Iraq and the Dimensions of Kurdish Federalism

The author studies the development of the Kurdish question in Iraq, and the Kurdish-American alliance that resulted therefrom, which the Kurds sought to employ to promote the political gains they obtained shortly following the American occupation. The book raises an important question about the limits of the American-Kurdish alliance and whether the Americans will fulfil their promises of federal power and wealth to the Kurdish parties.
