In light of the developments witnessed by the Qatari-Ethiopian relations, which saw complete severance in 2008 and the return of diplomatic ties in 2013, it is important to understand the contexts that pushed these relations to such levels.

In light of the developments witnessed by the Qatari-Ethiopian relations, which saw complete severance in 2008 and the return of diplomatic ties in 2013, it is important to understand the contexts that pushed these relations to such levels.

  
How does Qatar envision the future of its ties with Ethiopia and how does it asses the Ethiopian policy in the African horn region? On the other hand, how does Ethiopia see its ties with Qatar and the Qatari policy in Africa? Is it possible to understand the Arab-Ethiopian relations based on the Qatar-Ethiopia case?
