A Saudi media delegation visited the AlJazeera Center for Studies on Thursday 20 February 2014. The delegation represented a number of the kingdom’s various press and broadcasting media outlets.
The visit aimed to examine the experience of the center’s presence as a research organization working within the AlJazeera Media Network.
In the meeting, the center offered the Saudi delegation an overview of the center’s operations, its research focus, and its target audience. The center also explained the nature of the research support it provides the AlJazeera Network’s channels with its varied languages. The center also answered the visiting delegation’s questions and inquiries, especially regarding the contributions of the center’s Gulf Studies Unit in deepening the understanding of the nature of the political and strategic challenges facing the GCC states.
