On 5 January 2016, AlJazeera Centre for Studies will hold a press conference at noon to announce the results of its opinion poll, “Arab Elite’s Attitudes Toward Arab-Iranian Relations and Iran’s Role in the Region”. The press conference will be held in AlJazeera Media Training and Development Centre’s Auditorium.

The poll consisted of 860 telephone surveys conducted with a representative sample of Arab elites from 21 countries between 30 September and 30 November 2015.

The first of its kind, the opinion poll explored attitudes of Arab thinkers, politicians and academics on a number of issues, including the strength of Arab-Iranian political, economic, security, social and cultural ties, Iran’s stance towards the Arab Spring revolutions and the impact of the nuclear agreement on the Arab world.

The results of the poll will be published on the Centre’s website and provide a rich body of data for researchers and policymakers alike.
