Democracy and Human Rights in Islam

If man is a social being by nature, as is anciently known, due to his inability as an individual to provide for his necessary needs of food and protection, let alone updating the necessities of such existence materially and morally by producing civilization, it has been imperative for human beings to live in groups. And for community life to be sustained, the need for norms and laws have arisen to determine what just is and what unjust is, and what right is and what wrong is.
