Humanitarian Military Intervention after the Cold War
This book describes the forms of humanitarian military intervention during the post-cold-war period, and mentions the parties involved in an investigative review covering different eras of international relations. It also raises questions regarding how the international community should react as violations of human rights are witnessed in many countries, particularly since they are neither able nor willing to protect their citizens. Could an agreement defining the nature of human rights violations be reached hence finding effective ways to redress them? Can we rely on military intervention to defend human rights worldwide?
