Malak Chabkoun is an independent Middle East researcher and writer. She holds a Master in Public Administration and a Master in Political Science. Malak is also currently a PhD candidate at the University of Houston, and her dissertation is titled, "The Arrow Points the Other Way: Institutions Born Out of Crisis." Prior to joining the Centre, she taught American Government and Comparative Politics at the university level in the US.
