Developments in Northeastern Syria: The End of the SDF?

Within days, control in northeastern Syria shifted dramatically. Clashes in Aleppo between state forces and the SDF escalated into a swift Syrian army advance, retaking Deir Az Zor and Raqqa and reaching Ayn al-Arab and Hasakah, raising questions about the end of the SDF-led rebellion since 2014.
